Feburay 16, 2016 I lost my Grandmother. It was like losing both of my parents at the same time as well because she was the person who raised me. Honestly it still feels unreal. Her house, less than five block away, is a stark reminder of the evident. Nothing hurts me more than to know that my son and whatever other children I have will grow up without her. Sure, I'll pass on her memories through old photographs and holiday videos, but it won't be the same. That's the thing no one prepares you for concerning the path to adulthood: just how many people you tend to loose along the way. I tried to throw myself back into work the next day but it didn't work. 'One day at a time' is my new mantra whether I tend to believe it or not. I actually just put makeup on for
