Bacon Avocado Cheeseburger with Sauteed Red Onions and Jack Cheese. I tossed these frozen fries in the air fryer. Done and done.
You scream, I scream, we all scream for Bacon Avocado Cheeseburgers! Nothing like the easy breezy dinner of burger and fries after a chill work and school day. I have to admit the whole week so far has been easy breezy as far as dinner is concerned. The night before last I threw a beef roast in the Crock-pot late after hooking up some sauteed chicken breasts, mushroom risotto and green beans.
I'm sure it seems like I'm always swirling around my kitchen like a big black Julia Childs, but that's hardly the case. Yes, I cook more often than not, but because of that we tend to order in for different meals more often than not 'cuz a bih be tired! Being in culinary school has a lot to do with that, so outside of cooking assignments I'm always looking for quick and well balanced solutions. Meal planning and prepping are essential. Large low and slow meals are top contenders in my arsenal because they can serve multiple mealtimes with leftovers. More on this later. In between those epic "low and slows" are quick meals that don't require a lot of time or equipment (because who's doing dishes?) and burger and fries are American royalty on the matter.
What's your favorite go to slow cooker meal? How often to you make homemade cookies? Not gonna lie- it's been at least a year or so for me, so you know Willie was extra excited. :) Let me know in the comments below! -T
